  • Tom Faubion - $5 for leaving early.
  • Heidi Wachter – paid up a “wachter” and included a “tithe” in her club contribution for the $100 she won at CPRI.
  • Dave Cotant paid up on a Wachter, plus paid a fine for continuing to collect $1 from CAPRI after his number was called.

Club Program – Classification Talks by two of our members:
John Munn – Director of the Lakewood Playhouse
  • Lakewood Playhouse is nearing the end of its 80th season and preparing for a strong 81st year.
  • John provided recognition and appreciation to Bob Lawrence who is on the Lakewood Playhouse board and Marie Barth who has also been a great supporter.
  • John discussed the cost of doing a play and noted that the largest expenses come from production rights and the cost of live musicians (for musicals).
  • LP is now fully equipped with LED lights, which has dropped the power bull by approximately 22% and reduced the heat generated.
  • John provided an overview of the shows lined up for the 81stseason which opens in September.
  • Season tickets (for those not currently season ticket holders) go on sale Friday.
Brandon Solomonson – Real Estate Broker with Hawkins Poe Real Estate in Fircrest
  • Brandon is new to the Real Estate business with five months of experience behind him. He provided a fresh perspective regarding the industry and gave insight into the life of an independent contractor.
  • Brandon enjoys educating people about raising market value of their property and assisting them in their pursuit of a new home.
  • He responded to questions regarding the Tacoma/Lakewood housing market, as well as the ethics training required of professional realtors.
Dave Cotant filled in for Tom Faubion in administering the Raffle. Brandon Solomonson had the lucky ticket. Didn’t draw an ace. 5 buck consolation prize.
